Arda's relationship with Nikon stretches back to 2009, when he purchased his first camera, a Nikon D60, and carried it with him everywhere. That early connection planted something lasting. Today, his kit has evolved into a professional setup built around the Nikon Z8 and Nikon Z7 II, paired with a selection of NIKKOR Z lenses including the 24-70mm f/2.8 S, the 70-200mm f/2.8 VR S II, and two primes he reaches for most often on set: the NIKKOR Z 35mm f/1.2 S and the NIKKOR Z 85mm f/1.2 S. The 85mm, in particular, has become his signature lens over the past two years. Beyond its optical quality, Arda values the working distance it creates between himself and his subjects, a subtle but meaningful gap that allows people to settle, breathe, and forget the camera is there. For a photographer whose entire approach centers on capturing presence over performance, that distance is not just practical, it is part of the creative process itself. His workflow is completed using Capture One, Photoshop, and Lightroom.
